ENSEMBLES
The rhythm section is the band's foundation, in charge of the groove and harmonies. Consider it like a chair or table with four robust legs, and the four legs for the rhythm section are Drums, Bass Guitar, Guitar, and Piano. Each of the four is responsible for a different component of the groove, and when you have master rhythm players, you'll feel it on the dance floor; it'll be like candy to your ears.
In addition to the rhythm section, if your budget allows, we highly recommend our percussionist. Yoel Del Sol (who has performed with the renowned Yanni) and, of course, a few other incredible men depending on date and availability. The rhythm part will be spiced and flavored by the suitable percussionist. Excellent booster!
Nothing beats a tight horn group that plays in unison and then breaks out into some jazzy harmonics to create that rich, lovely sound. Consider Big Band Jazz, Funk, Disco, Nashville, New Orleans, New York City, and so forth. A good horn section needs at least two horns, which are an Alto or Tenor Sax and a Trumpet. A strong horn section, however, requires at least three horns (Alto or Tenor Sax, Trumpet, and Trombone). Consider a choir; you have the perfect combination of sounds coming together to create the desired effect.
Do we propose more than three? Absolutely, and when it comes to horns, you can pretty much double on any instrument and it will sound incredibly rich, it will blow your mind. It obviously depends on your budget.
Even if you have the world's best symphony, if the sound isn't up to par, the band will never sound the same and will be ignored. As a result, we collaborate with our exclusive sound designers, who actively work with us to create the most richly textured sound possible.
Depending on the number of guests and the size of the venue, we recommend several sound packages. There are three size options: small, medium, and large. We use top-quality sound equipment from QSC, RCF, Meyers and Clair Bros. Just inquire.
Have you ever listened to classical music that made your heart melt? I'm sure you did. Strings are comprised of the Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, and Harp. It's a similar concept to what we discussed with the horn section. We propose a minimum of 4 strings, 2 Violins, Viola, and Cello, to make the correct impression, from the gorgeous padding sound to the flawless harmonies. Consider the Harp to be the rhythms section's percussionist.
Of course, if your budget allows, you may double or triple the string section and have a perfect symphony that will astound you and your guests.
Classical Wind and Horn Instruments
Flute, bassoon, clarinet, and French horn are among the instruments we highly recommend for the ceremony. The French horns, when combined in groups of two or four, produce a powerful 007 sound that complements the string section perfectly.
The flute or clarinet will add top colorful harmonies and arpeggios over the dramatic effect from the strings and horns, and instruments like the bassoon are very unique in their own way, and they are designed to play the dramatic low parts of the arrangement, sometimes as a solo instrument, and are part of a build up arrangement that leads up to the full orchestral impact.
Classical horn replacements
If the classical horns are out of your price range, normal horns such as sax, trumpet, and trombone can easily fill in for the French horns, and the sax player usually also plays the flute.
In addition, if you want to go all out and create the ideal storm, you can always add the standard horn section as an add-on to everything else.
We take pride in offering personalized arrangements for your ceremony song selection. Custom arrangements include writing notes (sheet music) for each unique instrument, each with their own particular component of the arrangement. Pinny Ostreicher is a musical genius who has arranged and produced many of the industry's top artists. Simply choose your dream chuppah tune, and he will produce a masterpiece piece for it.
“A large orchestral chuppah requires custom arrangements since each instrument requires written parts.”
If you choose a song that we have already in our database, the arrangement will be FREE OF CHARGE.
